The New York Times has an interesting article today. Apparently, Paganism is growing, and that's just fine, at least according to the NYT.

Nobel Winner Calls Bible "Handbook of Bad Morals"

At the launch event for his latest book, Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago attacked the bible, saying that the world would be better off without it. The writers latest book "Cain" is an ironic retelling of the story of Cain and Abel from the book of genesis. Looks like President Obama is in great company.

Univeristy of Minnesota Mascot Mocks Penn State Player for Praying (Video)

Goldy Gopher, the mascot for the University of Minnesota football team the Golden Gophers, made news today for mocking Penn State player Jerome Hayes. Jerome had knelt down in prayer before the game when the mascot decided make fun of him. Take a look at the video below.

Pro-Atheism Group Covers New York Subways in Ads

A group called The Big Apple Coalition of Reason has started a monthlong ad camaign on the New York City subway system. The group aims to convince people that there are many atheists in New York, and that they are still moral without religion.
